Booster seat recommendations?

Hi dd is 2 and the days of getting her in a high chair rather than on a dining chair appear to be waning. Dh keeps looking at stokke chairs which are £100+.

I can't believe that's what everyone does. So, what do u use and recommend? He's driving me bats by saying there's very little out there. He does love a gadget and I'm worried that's leading him astray.....! Please advise.

Thanks all

We bought Stokke copies off eBay. I don't think we spent more than 30£ or so and they are still going strong 6 and 8 years on.

We just got a kaboost on eBay and DD who's 2 loves it as just raises up the height of a normal chair. With her step she's entirely independent...

Ive just bought a plastic booster seat from argos for dd who is 21m. Can't remember the name, was £12.99. I think its great, straps to dining chair and just the right height for her to sit at the table with us.

We have a Handysitt, secind gand from ebay. Fits on most chairs, looks nice and folds for travel.

hazeyjane · 31/12/2012 08:22

sorry, should be 'second hand'!

We just have a Polar Gear booster which lives at home but is easy to stick in the the car for trips out too.

We also had handysitt. Expensive, but practical, looked much better than any of the plastic ones. Easy to clean. However, if your chairs have very tall backs, it may not fit, so make sure you check the measurements if you decide to go for it.

We just have a cheep booster from Mothcare, but if gadgets are desirable, I'd echo the kaboost
