Cosatto Noodle - what are we doing wrong?

We're having one rather fundamental problem with this highchair, and I can't for the life of me figure out what I'm doing wrong! The shoulder straps of the harness do not stay attached to the waist part of the harness, IYSWIM?

The shoulder straps end in little plastic clips that swivel around, and attach to the buckle at his waist, but they do not stay attached. If you put even slight pressure on them the clips pop out of the waist harness. He's 8 months and getting wrigglier by the day, so it's a bit of a worry, as he's often ended up secured only round his waist. It's obviously not too much of a problem when the tray is in place but it just seems like an accident waiting to happen.

Surely this can't be right? Is the highchair faulty or are we being stupid? Anyone had this problem?

[prays I'm not the only one]

Hello I have a cosatto highchair, not sure which model but i bought brand new from toys r us last year. I have the exact same problem, my 10 month old can undo the shoulder straps from the waist part. This has to be a fault and it is not safe at all. I am going to talk to toys r us on saturday and see what they say, i expect to be able to have it sent back to cosatto for them to look at and have a replacement highchair. you are not alone!!
