Traditional bouncer or vibrating bouncer

I'd like to buy quite a traditional bouncer in preparation for our baby's arrival, but wondering how useful the vibration function is. Is it worth spending the extra pennies? The only person I know who has one says DS hates the vibrating function. Thank you.

We had an ordinary one which dd3 wouldn't use but we tried my friends vibrating one either.

Ordinary ones seem to be smaller IME.

Mine liked the vibrations, but a non-vibrating one would have been fine too.

More important IMO is to get one that is quite relaxed in its bounce, in that it is easy to make it bounce with minimal movement to start it off. Mine is quite stiff, so the baby wriggling doesn't make it bounce, but others I have used are loose enough for the baby's movements to make it bounce.

Found it difficult to find nice bouncers without vibration so bought one with and DS did find it soothing.
