rocker/bouncer question

Can a newborn sleep during the day (not the night) in a rocker/bouncer type chair? I'm looking for something that can be placed wherever we need for during the day, so it could be a moses basket, but I like the idea of the rockers.

Mine slept in her bouncy chair on the flattest setting or in her swing. She had silent reflux though so it helped to keep her a bit more upright.
One of my friends borrowed a second basket to keep downstairs which made life much easier for her!

Thank you both. I think I'll go for a rocker as it gives the option of being a bit more sociable in the upright positions and sleep when lowered down. Space is an issue, otherwise having both would be great!
