We live overseas with PILs. I see how much they enjoy having us and 4mo LO around and how much she enjoys having more than her two boring old parents to play with.

We have skype and I load lots of photos onto flickr and am trying to add some short video clips of LO too.

Does anyone have any more ideas of ways to keep the folks back home involved?

Ta v much in advance.

Letters

Ask your parents to keep them, number them yourself if you can, and they will be an absolutely amazing record for you all of your LOs development.

I'm not talking long ones - get some A5 writing paper and write a single side every week. Don't bother with long intros, just whatever she is doing at that moment, a funny thing she did/said, how tired you are feeling, anything real that will bring back the moment.

Ah yes, letters, I remember those, pen, paper, stamp.
Great idea, thanks Choosy.
