I was looking after my 2 year old granddaughter and foolishly said ‘don’t tell daddy’ which she later repeated to him. It is not something I’ve said often although growing up it was normal for me to be told this. But I bitterly regret as it has caused distrust obviously in all areas now, no treats eg icecream etc which makes things difficult as I appear like the evil nanny and I don’t know what to do to repair things
