Very worried about my neighbour and hoping for advice on any way I can help.
My neighbours are 88 and 80 ish. "Jane" (80) is suffering from severe anxiety. It was so bad yesterday that they ended up calling an ambulance in the night thinking she may have been having a heart attack. Ambulance team gave her the OK physically. She's now at home and in a bad way - I saw her earlier and she says she feels dreadful, and that husband "John" (88, disabled) can't cope. She actually seemed scared of her own mental state. They don't have children or other family nearby. I am working but from home so can support on and off. What can I do to help? I don't know them well, but we're in a pair of semis and I've seen plenty of them and had many chats / tea / drinks at Christmas in the 5 years I've lived here. They are lovely and I'm sure they'd love some support, as long as it's actually helpful. Have already offered lifts / shopping anything else I can do. They are quite well off and tend to get shopping delivered anyway.
