I'm in a few hobby and women's groups, and didn't have DCs (or GCs obvs).
At my age, many, if not most, of the women do have GCs, and they talk about them quite extensively. I certainly understand that they love them and they're very involved in their lives. But I do find it tedious at times and it can be, imo, a bit overdone - one women in a Zoom group presented no fewer than 5 of her GD's adorable outfits for us to admire. And another one went on for quite a while about her GS's harp lessons.
I'm just wondering how those who do have GCs feel about this kind of thing. Is it completely understandable, or maybe a bit self-centered?
