I'm late 50s.
Active person dh is 63 and on the slower side.
I just wondered in your 60s what do you do and how do you spend your time.
I will still be working as far as I know and hope to cross things off a bucket list.

I’m 68. I spend most of my time looking after my 93 year old mum who has dementia and lives “independently “ round the corner from me, and my husband who has some disabilities. We are lucky to live in a lovely area and I have a quite big garden in which I try to grow vegetables and neglect the flowers. I worry about what is happening in the world and try to live a life that’s not too wasteful. I cook, I practice yoga, I walk locally when I do have time, I listen to radio 4. I read, I'm in a book group. I talk to my adult children on the phone and by message. I take my people to doctors, chiropodists, hospital and other appointments. Although my life didn’t turn out the way I imagined, I’m also much happier than I believed I would be. Positive acceptance of what is, and gratitude for little things, makes all the difference.

I’m just 60 aaaaahhh. It’s quite a shock.

But I’m still working running my own company from home. I go to Aqua Aerobics 3 times a week minimum, sometimes 4 and am about to start over 60s yoga.

I tend to not work on a Friday and meet perhaps a girlfriend for lunch, maybe meet girlfriends once a month on a Saturday for lunch. Holiday three times a year, enjoy going for pub lunches in the countryside at weekends or going to the beach in the summer which is about 30 minutes away.

See family and make lots of effort to make it fun with lunches and fun activities for the little one.

When I close my business I will volunteer to keep myself active and explore other things that fit with age, lifestyle and circumstances.

I'm kind of looking forward to my 60s
Yet health and that of our loved ones plays a huge part.

Bloody love being almost 70.... can please myself so much more.
Do care for husband and have grandchildren to stay which is fine and can be enjoyable but I love after 50 odd years to get up when I want, read when I want, walk where I want, be as sociable/ unsociable as I want.... Long time coming but makes me realise just how much I did for others and pushed my own needs to the back... when I'm engaged with caring/ child minding I'm 💯 but when I'm not I'm all about me!
