Can we have an adopt a dad thread for all of our kiddies that don't/rarly get to see theirs? Seriously!

ImnotMamaGbutsheLovesMe · 25/08/2008 16:45

Great idea.

Mine have a great dad but I would love a father.

hello , there si another thread about this today and it reminded me. i am still looking into this and am making changes to my current babysitter website to see if it can include a 'granny' type bit (obv grandad too).

the other website was pretty much dormant but still operating iyswim - so it didnt really get anywhere

if anyone is interested let me know please!!

Addendum:
at the weekend I went to opr village gala day and discovered that there will be a new 'good neighbour' scheme set up soon. They were taking names of people interested in having a good neighbour or being a good neighbour. One of the 'tasks' was 'providing companionship' to an elderly peson. I've put my name down - this might be a way of meeting an elderly person or else you could contact your local council to see if they do something similar. All volunteers have to have a CRB check btw.

And I am going to add something about this on my babysitting website (on a virtually free basis, at cost only). Let me know if a scheme would be helpful
good luck
