Any advice from mothers of sons who have been caught out with the wrong girl?!

He's an adult, let him make his own choices and deal with his own problems.
You can be there to support him, but don't interfere

Assuming this is an adult relationship between two consenting adults I'd say the best advice is to keep your thoughts to yourself but be there to support if/when needed.

I'm wondering what you mean by "caught out", and "wrong girl" though, OP. It might help if you elaborated.
