Unfair treatment and favouritism

My LO has several cousins who see their nan and grandad most days. Our busy lives don't allow for this level of contact so we don't get over as often as we would like. My LO's grandparents don't seem to show the level of love to her as they do her cousins. Her cousins are given frequent gifts by their grandparents, LO gets nothing. Grandparents will visit the cousins houses but rarely visit us. Recently LO has noticed the lack of visits and seems hurt by it. We've explained that people are busy etc but she quite rightly points out that they have time to visit others. Should we discuss our concerns with them or see if things improve?

I know this is unfair and hurtful. My advice? Don't mention how it's been. Do say you'd love to see more of them and invite them to you. My partner doesn't see as much of his dcs as he would like but when I suggest he phone them they nearly always arrange a meet up. Best of luck.

Thank you. It's so difficult. I would hate to upset anybody so probably best to do as you say.
