Hi to all, I'm a single Mum to 2 sons aged 14 & 12. My eldest son was diagnosed with aspergers syndrome about 7 years ago - fortunately he is affected mildly with this and lives a fairly functional life, some days are better than others!
I'm also studying for my PhD at the University of Northampton and my research is exploring the lived experiences and meanings of becoming a young grandparent. I really need to find some young UK grandparents to take part in my study so if anyone out there knows anyone who became grandparents at the age of 40 or under and the eldest grandchild is pre-school age then please do let me know.
