EXACTING REVENGE ON EX PARTNER/HUSBAND

I would like to ask the young mums why they stop their partners parents/grandparents from seeing grandchildren when they divorce or split. It appears to be the norm these days. If grandparents and grandchildren get on why cause distress to children by stopping contact. I feel ashamed at the way my sex exacts revenge.

1 - Are you aware that you have posted this under "Bloggers"?

2 - What you are describing is not the norm.

Is it really that common? I've been very lucky in that I've always had a good relationship with Ex-H's parents, but I know from MN that lots of women have had awful treatment from their in-laws who have completely sided with the Ex, regardless any abuse or violence that might have happened, and yes, of course that's going to impact whether they want the children to maintain contact with them.

What's your experience? Have you tried writing to the mother of your grandchildren explaining that you're missing them, etc?

It's not just mothers who do this sort of thing but I'd agree that overall it's just an unpleasant minority who act this way.
