I have my granddaughters 8, 5 and 18 months, one day a week each during the holidays for some lovely 1-2-1 time with Grumbo. I know all the parks and the usual Mac centre at Cannon Hill, Lickeys, Arrow Valley Park, Hickory Dickory's. Does anyone know of any unusal activities they might like please, preferably inexpensive? I am mobile within reason as petrol is so expensive for us poor pensioners! Thanks.

Hi grumbo not a granny but have you checked activities at museum and also central library as they often have reallg good cheap or free family stuff eg crafts, animals or plays ansd story telling. Also don't forget the nature centre next to cannon hill park which is usually a winner with that age group.

its also good to have a craft kit at home for those days you don't get out. There are lots of great ones out there. I got the rainy day craft hamper from ebay, it is brilliant for making things with the kids. I take the hamper to the park as doing different activities seems to make the same old park a brand new activity
