DS1 is 6 1/2, in P2 in a State Primary School with good reputation in the Central Belt in Scotland.
In Reading, Writing and Maths he is working toward Level C and is currently doing P5 work in Maths.
What kind of support can we expect? How do things work for able children in Scotland?

I am quite spooked by his innate ability with numbers (he has just discovered cubed numbers) and want to support him, but am not sure how without neglecting him in other/social respects.

TIA for any advice/information.

This might help

Also, google SNAP (Scottish Network for Able Pupils).
