Is G&T until further notice, or is it renewed each year?

I've no idea. Does it have to be reassessed each school year?

Not sure. My daughter was told she was G&T (although school hasn't mentioned anything about it) and her friend had to come off the list so she could go on it.

My guess is that it is reviewed on an ongoing basis.

Well DS1 got his report yesterday and it restated he's on the G&T list, but I've no idea whether he will automatically be so in his new class in September. Parents have to stumble around in the dark a bit with G&T, don't they?

At our school, they reassess the list every term. They list the top 3 in the class in numeracy and the top 3 in literacy.
