ive just read the thread about NAGC and wondered about mensa. My daughter is well within the range needed to join and just wondered if anyone has any experience with this to and wether its worth joining thanks

I don't personally see the point of mensa, but then again I don't really know what they offer and tend to think of them as an elitist club. Your daughter is very young & although you do see headline stories about 2 year olds joining, I expect their membership is mostly much older. I'd make very careful enquiries about what they really offer to youngsters before signing up.

I'm eligible for Mensa, but haven't bothered joining. I know there's a lot of clubs and things, but think it's more focused to older people.
