Don't post here normally as I don't really consider my kids G&T. However one is predicted to get A* or A gades at GCSE and also has many dyspraxic characteristics. Does anyone have a G&T dyspraxic child as I dispair of ever getting any decent advice?

Can someone advis me. My 15 year old son has been just diagnosed with dyspraxia, he is about to sit 8 intermediate highers ( I live in Scotland) and attends a private school . They think due to his high iq he has compenate this far, Now he is imploding and failed all his prelims. He is quiet and reserved which wasnt helped by his seriously unprovoked attack 1 and a half years ago.

I dont know how to deal with this situation and I know his self esteem is rock bottom.
He is socially isolated although helps in a charity shop on Satuurday mornings whis he enjoys and interacts well there.

Tatt your school's SENCO will probably be one of the teachers, depends how large the school is. If they have a website or school handout listing staff names, it should be highlighted there. They will also have SEN assistants who are the teachers who actually carry out the additional lessons with kids with SEN.

How old is you dc?
