I have posted on here since Ds was tiny, he was a complete handful as a toddler but clearly bright.
Today he has aced his gcses getting 11 grade 9s. He's at a (very good) state school, i'm so happy!!

Wow that’s a seriously impressive set of results.

Well done DS!! Toddlers that are a 'handful' often do well in life. They're just frustrated at not being able to do things they want to do or communicate it!

JustMarriedBecca · 30/08/2024 14:17

Amazing. Great to be able to celebrate somewhere isn't it?!

My daughter also got 11 x 9’s, also in a state school (actually 12 x 9’s in total as she did RE in year 10). Super proud of her, she worked her socks off and thoroughly deserved it. In year 9 her attendance was less than 80% due to health issues she’s had since age 12 and she wasn’t in good health during the exams so an ever greater achievement. Well done to your son
