I started a similar thread a while ago to celebrate my ds's didgeridoo playing and my dd's amazing fishcakes. I would like to report that ds (7 on Thursday) has added another string to his bow. He can not only balance a spoon on his nose, but he can walk nearly a mile with it without dropping it. It's such a shame Saturday Night at the palladium is no more - he would be a natural with his didgeridoo and his spoon.

What can yours do?

I don't think the stage at the Palladium is a mile long so the trick would have lost some of its impact anyway. Perhaps he could lead a parade? More effective if he can play the didgeridoo at the same time obviously.
Mine can't compete in that league, but DD1 can draw really quite good cockatoos. Or perhaps they are parakeets.

Rosa - he can do the Rolf Harris bit ("Can you tell what it is yet?") - it would go really well with the didgeridoo. Not sure where the spoon balancing fits in. We may have to work at this...

I am sure there must be some reality/variety show on TV that could showcase your DS's gifts

I forgot about this strange clucking noise DD2 makes, which unfailingly reduces me to giggles. That is quite a talent IMO.
