Ammee the musician {from other prog} was on there talking about the balance of her life ie going to a school that she could chat to her friends about other stuff than music

The general concencus from the callers and guests in studio was that if you have a G&T child let them interact with others so they can develop other interests and relationships and learn how to make friends rather than sit in a room alone with a piano for hours and hours and hours and no friends etc.

So I think yes let the children follow their interests/talents/gifts but let them have friends as well

Also maybe have a backup career incase they get injured and can't follow the path that they orinially want to
