Newton Prep

I hope somebody can give us some advice. We have a highly gifted DS, specially on Math. Luckily, he really enjoys school and and has a pure joy for learning.
We are looking for primary school that caters /understands the gifted but are not super "intense" as we wouldn't want him to be burn out by the age of 12. Does anybody know if Newton Prep is very intense, with the workload, expectations etc?? Or does anybody know a school that is strong academically but it's kind of chilled at the same time? Thank you so much!

Newton Prep has not billed itself as 'for the gifted' for many years now.

It is however selective, and it weeds.

And yes, I'd say it was less 'intensive' than most other preps in the area (for example, less but more interesting homework)

Thank you so much for the input. I really appreciate it. We are not from the area and working out which schools are 'intense' is a big difficult

Hi I am moving to London and I would like know if anyone has any experience with Newton Prep and Notting Hill Prep. My son is very interested in STEM. What would you choose?
