DS1 is 13 a true G+T in all ways academic
Now...
picture 3 crepes, filled with chocolate, ready to be gently microwaved as a treat for pudding...

He chooses a plate 3 inches effing smaller than the crepes and duly warms them...
Am only typing this to avoid twatting him on the noggin...

G+T in this house is often swapped for Gormless and Twatty...

Hello All! these messages made me laugh out loud. My DH is a brainy microelectronics engineer but sometimes laughably daft. Technical stuff is fine but with a huge tendency to boy-scout the most intricate solutions to easy problems. Why chuck out the naff old push-button TV when you can build your own remote?? I had to vito that as it would have taken ages. As a kid he was always in trouble- mostly through boredom. We have a very cheeky DD (13months) and another in the oven... It could be trouble to come!

Piffle, don't worry, however it may be longer before his talents are appreciated by the fairer sex. I think us ladies realise with time that brainy boys are a good thing.

Don't worry Piffle - dh is rather like your ds! And I think I'm quite a catch, actually.

Yes, may I say, Piffle, my SIL is a very lovely lady. But she does need to ensure that DB has clean socks. And he might well starve if left to his own devices overnight.

yes, dont worry piffle. ive had dimwit boyfriends and the novelty of tasty pecs (or whatever) wears off pretty damn quickly.

dp is v intelligent (again, commonsense, not so much at times). is much more flattering tobe adored by someone who is bright enough to know what theyre talking about.and i love that hes too smart for me to get one over on him, not that i can be arsed with wasting time in a relationship where one does that sort of thing. iyswim.
