Hi, first post here. :P

So, my daughter was showing me her CAT results from when she was in Year Seven, (she is now Year Eight) and I have not got a clue what they mean? I have been informed she is on the G&T register, and she gets good levels. Are these CAT results good, or the norm? She was 11 years old at the time.

Verbal SAS 141.0
Quantitate SAS 123.0
Non Verbal SAS 123.0
Mean SAS 129.0

Thanks!

This may help.

So, is it the same for all ages. Does this mean my dd did very well?

120+ is very good and think 141 is the (or very near) max score.

Ok, thanks.

Here's the thread from when I asked the exact same question - we found links to explanations of how the scores fit the population and predicted GCSE grades.

141 is the max possible. 120+ is indeed very good. 100 is the mean for all the population. We have bright daughters!

It appears so. :-).
