DS is bright, lovely chap, saying he's finding work easy at school, but totally loves learning. He is free-reading, plays chess and in a Y2 maths group, if that means anything!
Don;t know anything about levels or how to find out what he could be at/should be at/is at for his age!!!! Could someone please explain levels to me for a Y1/ Y2 boy...
We do endless reading maths writing at home, it might be nice to check in with teacher as to where he is at, but don't want to appear pushy!!! he is happy, but maybe on verge of getting bored... Should he be extended more?
