am so proud of dd, she has just found out that she got a merit for her grade 4 piano & distinction for her violin & will be taking violin II in july. i am not the sort to normally be so openly pride but i am :) she plays because she loves it, not because we force her unlike some peole i know. great timing too, her watching young musician competition, what a fantastic violin player (the girl of 14). dd is only 9 and has only been playing for a couple of years. one proud mumma :D

OP How long has she been playing the violin for? Is that 2 years, or both instruments? And is it grade 1 violin that she passed?
