Hi all. I'm a new member here.
My ds (10) is on the gifted and talented list at school he also has mild TS. He is so friendly, polite, placid, and compassionate ( all teachers and adults comment on him being a lovely boy) and although he tries to join in with peers he always ends up out cast and bullied.
He was physically and verbally bullied to such a sickening extent that I removed him from his last primary to the one he is in now, but it has started at this one now too. When he joins in conversation they tell him to "shut up" or say "killed it". It is starting to depress him because he can't see why he is singled out and got at so much.

I am wondering if any parents out there have been in a similar position and what you did about it, as I am thinking of switching to home education with some tutor time added?

Any advice will be greatfully recieved. :(

If his school, for a second time, is not putting the stop on this I would be on the phone to ofsted asap.

Phone the school, chat with his teachers. They should be being far more pro-active about this. If you get no joy ofsted.

Thank you very much both of you for your advice. I will talk all this through with my husband this weekend and act on Monday! :)
