Just wondering if anyone elses DC have been identified in subjects such as history or geography? If so, how has your child been differentiated for, either in or out of the classroom? Thanks.

Ds is g&t for most subjects (excluding art & PE). The county do masterclasses for technology (and english, maths, art & PE,) so he gets to go on the ones he qualifies for. But im not really sure what in class extension work he gets, although he gets to use the computers more in lesson time. He also gets some time out of class each week to do other things, (but i believe these are usually maths related activities). The only other thing im aware of is that he gets more music provision, performing in assembly etc.

Dd is g&t for english, maths, history & geography but again her differentiation is mostly for English & maths, the school haven't really given any details of provision in any other subjects.

One of my kids goes to a GnT Arts Club for free. They have only 10 children from whole school. But History and Geography at Primary school, mmm, no idea. How about some books for your DC to explore more?
