Just to let everone know the NAGC is holding its first meeting in North Wales on Saturday 14th January 2012. The popularity of this event will determine whether or not a region is set up here.

There are 2 sessions; one for parents and one for professionals.

It will be held at St Christophers School, Wrexham.

Booking is required.....please use the events link on the right hand side www.nagcbritain.org.uk

Sorry I missed the meeting (only just saw the thread). Question: Was there enough interest? What was the result of the meeting? Is anything happening in North Wales? Please let me know. thanks!

My dd has always been way above her peers and on that G&T rubbish. Didn't mean a thing at primary school and definitely doesn't mean a thing at high school. Dd always found everything so easy even now and she is 12. Never contacted NAGC (whatever it is - i don't know) or any others. And never had dd "tested". What does it all mean? Paying someone a lot of money just for them to say that your child is "brainy"? I can't see the point myself.
