Anyone else got a bright child that just can't get it together?
My son is 13 [g and t] and just can't seem to grasp the concept of organisation! Most days he will walk out of the door without his Pe Kit, bus pass, homework etc. If I wasn't constantly on his case I just don't think he would function!
I have heard loads about extremely bright people living in cess pits because they just don't see the importance of boring stuff like clean clothes!
I wonder how much of it is the fact that he is 13, an only child [I don't mollycoddle;promise] and how much is down to the fact that he just has too much 'stuff' in his head to be bothered with mundane things.
Otherwise he is articulate, ridiculously mature for his age, responsible and hilariously funny. Pretty sorted really.
