HELP: How long for antidepressant withdrawal symptoms to subside?

Just as the title says really... those of you that have come off your ADs, I'd be really grateful if you were happy to share your type of med, dosage, withdrawal experience and length. Struggling a bit at the moment, I was taking Lexapro, had come down to 10mg before stopping and I'm still not great after a week. Still getting the 'electric jolts' (please tell me someone else knows what I mean!) and still a bit foggy and on edge... does it get better???

Hey @MNHQ just realised the title looks like a sponsored thread? Could you change to whatever would get more traction? x

Hi, I’m 4 months off ADs and still having bad withdrawals but I was CT by my gp. There’s a page antidepressant SSRIs withdrawal support on Facebook which is really good

Hey, you might not see this but I came off lexapro a couple of weeks ago from 10mg and getting AWFUL electric jolts through my body everytime I move and even when I move my eyes sometimes. Driving me crazy and sending my anxiety through the roof. If you see this and can remember how long did your last for?
