Do I need to go to hospital or this ok to treat at home? I can’t work out if it’s third or second degree burn. Sat on a curing iron :(

That will need a proper clean and debridement and appropriate management and dressings.

If you have an urgent care or minor injuries facility then attend there, ED if not. Yes, you'll lose your day but better than the wound getting infected.

Any burn bigger than a 5 pence piece needs to be seen.

Looks really painful too. Hope you're ok.

Omg, definitely get it checked!! Burns are very susceptible to infection.

I recently had a skin graft on a burn that was probably a quarter of the size and didn't look half as bad so yes - go to hospital.
