Hi this only started last night she is BF but has been sick, like something out of the exocist since 2.30 this morning, it happens about an hr after her feeds. So she had a feed at 6 and was sick at 7am was then feed again just after she was sick and sick at 8 am, she then went through til 11.30 which is unlike her and was sick again an hr later. She has never done this before and i am rather worried.

Any ideas realy welcome.

phone NHS Direct or your doctor, very young baby

TanteRose · 08/07/2010 13:15

It could be a reaction to your milk (my DD was affected by dairy in my diet), or that she just takes in too much milk all at once, but it could be a virus/tummy bug.

please take her to your doctor, or phone. Babies can get dehydrated extremely quickly...

also, don't stop feeding her, if she wants to feed - even if she vomits, the milk will help her keep hydrated ...this is ONLY until you can see your GP, though - I hope you are on the phone to them now...

How's it going ?

sorry was manic with her being sick after the docs.

she felt her tummy and was soft so said it must be a tummy bug, she is much better this morning although has it the other end now bless her.

I feel much happier though that she seems to be getting better.
