Sorry to moan, but I have literally had one bug after another for the last six months, or pretty much since September when dd (now 21 months) started nursery. I have probably had sum total of two weeks off without some kind cold/fluey thing since January. I'm otherwise in good health and in the past, I've never been particularly sickly or had so many bugs.
I'm just getting so weary of it, especially due to combination of being ill and having to work. DD seems to cope better with the bugs than me. Bit of calpol, bit of crabbiness but she seems to get over the worst of them far more quickly than me.
ps Ahh, feel better for the whinge already. Thank you MN!

I'm afraid so. Chances are you'll get another spate when she starts school and is exposed to a different set of infection vectors children.

But it does abate eventually!

Oh yes - mine was the same. They seemed to be sending her home from nursery every week at one point which made my boss a bit . Now she is a bit older, she is rarely ill.

Oh that's good to know Grimma - I asked my mum and she said she couldn't really remember, which made me think her load of bugs can't ahve been that bad, because i don't think i'll ever forget the little nasties I've been catching. The latest involves sinus infection, chest wheeziness and headache - hurrah!

Another positive story, thanks Portofino. Relief - maybe it'll make us all stronger in this family. RAther annoyingly dh doesn't seem to suffer from them at all - prob good thing, actually as he is a big pain when ill
