My ds appears to be developing stretch marks

Is he turning into a pregnant woman?

seriously im quite shocked by this. Any advice/experience?

How old is he? Is he tall?

I think this is pretty normal, I've known a few men with stretchmarks from growing periods.

he's 4'7 and nearly 9. He does appear to have put weight on in the last 6 months

My DP has them, but from when he was older. His most recent weight gain has added to them too.

dh went through puberty quite early and i think im worried about ds going the same way.

Why does that worry you? Because of the mood changes etc?

In theory, I think rubbing vitamin E oil on skin reduces scarring (which is what stretchmarks are, really). But I don't think it actually works.

Dh has them from his growth spurt at age 12.
