IBS and artificial sweetner

I am just wondering if this has an adverse effect on IBS?

I am feeling a little sorry for myself, as I have just been sat on the loo for about half an hour (sorry if tmi)

I have just switched over to artificial sweetner (in a bid to lose some weight) and its the only thing I can think of that has sparked it off !!

I was on them yesterday and today. I use tescos own in tea and have the sugar free drinks.

I think its gonna have to be cold turkey with sugar in tea

don't do sugar, honey is healthier, you only need 1/4 of teaspoon at best
