Bit of advice required please!
I have bizarre itching which started last night, kept me awake pretty much all night when I would actually have happily taken a cheese grater to my lady bits - TMI sorry.

I have had thrush before and I dont think its that, but I used some Canesten cream just to check and it didnt help. Its been fine all day at work but now Im home again its driving me mad. Really mad. So I washed everything and tried Sudocrem. No joy.
I popped into the chemist on the way home and explained whats going on, she told me to see doc, which i will do in the morning and not to use canesten as Im pregnant - confusion as I thought it was safe?

A bit TMI again - there is no discharge to speak of, it kinda feels like my skin is dry and stuck together - well not stuck just pressing together i guess -rather than soggy sorry for graphic detail while people may be about to eat their tea!

If anyone has any ideas I would greatly appreciate your input!
Thanks loads.

Is it possible that you just have vaginal dryness and that is causing the itching?
How about trying vagisil cream - it has a local anaesthetic in it. I'm not sure what the guidance would be in pregnancy but suspect the pharmacist is being overly careful - I'm no expert though.

if you have bad thrush it'll take a few days for the treatment to work. if you think it might not be thrush and you are pregnant, you should go to your gp.

try some KY jelly on it? won't do any harm and if it's dryness causing the issue it should help

i think you may find it's just one of those bloody irritating things of pregnancy
