i have just in the past few minutes noticed two raised, very itchy bumps on the back of my lower leg about an inch apart. i have never had hives before but my sister gets them quite often and these look similar. as far as i know i haven't eaten anything that i normally wouldn't.

I would describe them as raised white areas, normally circular(ish) and intensly itchy. OTOH, you've already answered your own question 'my sister gets them quite often and these looks similar'.

It sounds like insect bites if there are only two.

they have stopped itching now. i dont think they are hives, they must be bites. they are red and raised with a white patch around them. what should i put on them? sudocreme?

Have you and antihistamine cream or tablets?

Sudocreme will be okay as well.

no antihistamine cream or tablets, none of us have allergies or hayfever. it isn't itching but i will just use sudocreme if it does.

anthisan is a good cream and piriton is probably the best antihistamine for something like bites.
