Im wondering if i should call nhs direct? My doctor said its a very rare complication that he hasnt seen for years but just keep an eye out for symptoms of bad chest...yesterday when i spoke to him, chest seemed fine.
today the bottom part of my chest aches when i breathe in and if i breate deeply, i have a wheeze/squeak at the top, almost in my throat. is this a normal symptom of chicken pox or should i call nhs direct? I dont feel gravely ill have had cp since thursday and am a bit achey and v tired but not incapacitated, spots are all over now but not covering every inch.....
what do you think??

I called them and they are going to get out of hours doctor to call me.

I feel like I am making a massive fuss, its not a big gurgle just a sqeaky wheeze....

please someone reassure me that they arent going to tell me off for wasting their time!!!!

You seem to be talking to yourself goat

I think you've done the right thing. CP in an adult is not to be messed with. I had it at 26 (and 26 weeks pg) so you have my utmost sympathy. Hope you feel better soon and the squeak is just a squeak.

No they won't tell you off. They wouldn't be sending someone out if they thought it was a waste of time. Hope you are feeling better soon, and it turns out to be nothing to worry about.

Thanks, saggar and kurrikurri for the reassurance. silly how you "dont want to bother" the medical professionals....or is that just me?!
