Sorry if this sounds a bit strange. I do not have a set of scales in my house - just judge how my clothes fit etc to see if I am gaining weight etc. But now I have to fill in a form with my weight on. Last time I went to the doctors I was weighed - a few weeks ago, but I can't remember the weight as it was in kg which didn't mean a lot to me. I do know that I am 5'8" and she said my BMI was 27. So - can anyone work out what weight I am from this??

Well, if your BMI is 27 and your height is 5.8 then your weight should be 79.8kg which is about 12 and half stone.

Done by old fashioned maths so please anyone feel free to correct.

BMI= weight divided by (height)squared
