i dont know if u have to say why. peter was tested as a matter of precaution before he went harefield. think he has had 3 done in total. all neg.

There are private clinics, but they charge at lot of money (£100-150).

You should be ok to go to any GUM clinic and no, you shouldn't have to say why. They will ask, but that is because they help if any positive results mean that you need to contact sexual partners (I am talking generally here, not about your situation )
