Child with haemorrhoids/piles

Noticed last night that my 9yr old son hads piles! He says it doesn't hurt at all, and he hadn't noticed anything was wrong...Has anyone else ever had kids get piles????

I've never heard of a child having this, but bumping it for you as someone else might have experience.
