Oh I am fed up
Yesterday I woke up with an awful headache, feeling sick etc, and slept for the whole day.
Had the headache though the night, churning tummy, lower back pain etc, and feel even worse today, and I need to wee every ten minutes or so!!!!
I'm trying to drink loads of water, don't really want to go to the docs if it's just a tummy bug - has anyone had anything like this?
xx

Are you just weeing small amounts? Is it blood stained? Is it painful to wee?

Any of these might be symptoms of a urinary tract infection. The infection could explain the other symptoms.

If so, I'd go to the docs and get ABs. It's a bugger fighting cystitis without them. In the mean time drink loads.

sounds as if you are developing a urine infection......keep the fluids up and take note if you get back ache or a pain going over the front of your hip bones

alypaly · 14/06/2010 16:45

if you cant get to the docs go and get a bottle of mist pot cit from the chemist and dronk lots of lemon and barley water til you can get an appt with the doc

Frequency + fever + lower back ache is possible urine infection or even kidney infection. Best to see a doctor today.

alypaly · 14/06/2010 16:46

if you pee in a glass quite often it is cloudy if you have a urine infection

Could you get someone to pop a wee sample into your GP surgery, it does sound like an infection.

I will make an appointment at the doctors first thing tomorrow morning, just to get it checked out. Thank you ladies - I HATE going to the doctors cos I always feel like I am wasting their time (daft I know!!)
Hubby isn't back from work until 8.30pm which is a shame cos I like the idea of weeing in a pot and making him carry it to the surgery, he would be horrified!!
Am slurping down Ribena (yum!)

cranberry juice is good for urine infections.Might clear up on its own but its a nuisance having to pop to the loo every 5 mins.best go docs if worried.
