And I'm dizzy. Do I need to do anything.

I swung up and around into the stairs of DD's loft bed last night and whacked my forehead full pelt.

I think forehead's are quite strong aren't they? That's why I'm thinking I'm probably okay, but just wanted to consult opinion.

Still dizzy? You sound mildly concussed to me, but I'm not an expert.

Call NHS Direct; they always tell you to seek medical advice, which you can proffer as a reason if your GP tells you it's nothing!

Do you feel sick/have you been sick?

Is your vision altered in any way?

I second awesomewellies though, why not get it checked?

Foreheads are pretty tough, they are the best place to whack your head, if you're going to whack your head, says DH (who knows).

He also says that if you lost consciousness, if you feel nauseous or if you vomit or become disorientated, you should go to A&E.

Thanks, and thanks castille's DH - that's what I thought really.

I have had a rare opportunity of hours to mumsnet over the last day or so so it could be that making me dizzy (not that it ever has before). I did feel a bit sick in the night but not majorly so.

I think I'll see how I am when DD wakes up shortly and then go to minor injuries on the way to Sainsbury's for DSD's birthday cake an dbunting.

Bunting is enough to make anyone dizzy.
