Thread Vein Removal, is it worth it?

Contemplating having this done for unsightly thread veins around the knee area, not sure how many methods of removal there are and if there are any side effects, any advice would be much appreciated

I was just about to start this thread myself. I'm pregnant with my second baby and have some horrendous thread veins on my calves. Does anyone out there have any advice? Please?

I have heard that this method is the dogs bollocks compared to laser treatment.
Saw it on embarrassing illnesses

not quite thread vein but had simliar treatment for a red unslightly mark that appeared on my nose after i picked a spot. I had 3 sessions of electrolysis and its pretty much gone
