Cervix scarred? prompted by another thread

I loathe having smears done, they are so painful. It struck me the last time I may have a scar on my cervix. I had a shrodker suture when dd was 17 weeks gestation and had it removed when she was born obviously. I do have a horrible tendancy to keloid scars and wonder if I have a scar. I tried to ask the gynae who did the procedure but his english was as limited as my german. Views?

It sounds quite likely. Maybe you could get a check up at the fpc- a nice light shone up there should get results
Not sure what they could do about it though

Great idea, problem is I am around 10000km away from my nearest FPC. Maybe in the summer when we go to the UK I'll present my fanjo to an unsuspecting person (with qualification)

I have been thinking on this, our current GP has a nice side line in cosmetic surgery (botox and fillers etc). I could ask him to have a gander and tell me the results. Probably not though, we don't call him Dr Gorgeous for nothing.

Tis such an elegant thing when we display our fanjos to medics, how could he not be smitten by the beauty of it all
