I read in the newspaper earlier this week that there is a strong link between thyroid/ throat cancers and dental x-rays, each time I visit my dentist he always asks me about my thyroid glands, never explains why. Why don't dentists advise you about the risks of these x-rays so we can make an informed choice, many people have thyroid problems I am beginning to wonder if it is down to radiation exposure in our mouths.
