So here are my symptons...

Was due to start a new pack of my pill Sunday (yesterday) but decided to stop taking it now. Dont know if this is part of whats wrong but thought id add it on to the list.
Thought i had cystitus, burning when weeing, throbbing down there etc, then last time when i weed i wiped and there was blood. Can anyone detect whats wrong with me plz, too early to be side effects of pill i think. Thanks

UTI? cystitis? you need to see a doctor tonight.. a UTI can make you v poorly

well weeing blood is not generally a good sign.. you can end up with a worse infeciton and of course you are probably feeling unpleasant and are in pain.. so i would certainly speak to NHS direct at the least or out of hours GP

i peed blood last time i had a uti... not pleasant and the doctor strongly suggested i never leave it that long to get medical attention again. GO TO THE GP!

I dont know if the bloods in the wee tho or from my...noonee to put it nicely

I saw the Dr just this morning about Cystitis and one of the questions she asked is whether any blood. I don't but it is a symptom. Go see a dr, even if it is just a UTI it's bloody awful, I have been awake every night in pain and only just got round to getting antibiotics as need to get rid of it before I collapse in a heap of tiredness.

basically, regardless of whether you are bleeding from your urethra or vagina, it is not normal, and it needs checking urgently.

Ive put a tampon in for a bit until i go a wee to see where its coming from. Thanks for advice peeps

i would get that tampon out actually, until you are sure where the infection is , if there is one... please can you call NHS direct ?

Sounds like UTI to me. I think when you're bleeding that means that the kidneys are already affected- not that it's extremely dangerous, but it can be if left alone, and at the point when you're bleeding it's too late for cranberry juice.

Go and get yourself some ABs.

Morning! Well they rang me back but it cut off so i rung them and they said theyll ring back but did they? Nope! Anyway went to docs this morning and left a urine sample which will be tested today, gotta ring back after 2. Feel a lot better today, can wee better, slight discomfort as its coming to th end but much better. Glad because its my birthday today :-)

Urine results were fine so god knows. Trying to see doc tomorrow.

Hi clarebear1, Hope you are feeling better today and that you get to see your GP. I suffer regularly with cystitis so you have my sympathy. My urine results occasionally come back clear which always perplexes me when I am in agony and racing to the toilet faster than Usain Bolt every few minutes ! Keep drinking loads of water but I am sure you are doing that.

Spoke to doctor and got antibiotics to take for 7 days so they will clear my sinus problems at the same time :-) He said the bleeding was prob due to coming off the pill, withdrawal bleed or something. Fingers crossed ill be back to normal again soon.
