This is our 50000 (or summat like that) thread.

Some of us do wW, some do the Lord Ford and there may even be a little bit of South Beach in here too!

If you have loads or a teeny tiny bit of weight to lose or even if you just want to eat healthy then this could be the thread for you.

Poor Junior

Alicetheinvisible · 02/06/2010 15:51

Next do wide fit i believe......

Alicetheinvisible · 02/06/2010 15:53

And these for casual?

Mouseface · 02/06/2010 15:55

Alice - nice!

Jet - Oh poor Junior. I'd get the doc out if I wear you. If paracetamol doesn't work.

jetcat · 02/06/2010 15:56

Alice, but do they do extra extra wide

I feel so sorry for junior actually. She is dreading it being an infection, as she knows that means into hospital for iv antibotics, and she is so scared of the iv going in (hypersensitive). But, and i havent said this to her, to me she is showing the classic signs, as she is up and down a lot. a couple of hours ago she was feeling a lot better, then suddenly went all pale and week again - this is what she does with water infections (she has kidney reflux so gets them a lot). I remember the last time she was in hospital, i had to pop home for some clothes, and when i got back, the nurse was just taking her temp, and she said "oh thats good, it's come down to 41"

sorry, i am waffling

jetcat · 02/06/2010 15:57

Alice, they are lovely

Alicetheinvisible · 02/06/2010 16:00

In that case Jet, don't hang around. Get her seen.

Feel a bit trivial thinking of shoes (sorry )

jetcat · 02/06/2010 16:04

dont be daft ALice It is a nice distraction!

Alicetheinvisible · 02/06/2010 16:08

In that case......

I like the green shoes because they are smart and grown up, but i can't stop thinking of the red ones, they are so 'dorothy' aren't they? And red shoes don't actually have to match anything do they?

Alicetheinvisible · 02/06/2010 16:11

oh, and i have just eaten a pack of chocolate bourbons

Mittz · 02/06/2010 16:15

Oh Jet sweetie.. poor you and her.. (( ))

Mouseface · 02/06/2010 16:15

GET THEM!! Red is a great colour.

Right, off to administer calpol. And then out to feed the ducks as it's so nice.

Jet - I do hope DD is okay and it's not a kidney infection.

Be back tomorrow at some point.

Bye for now shiney peeps!

jetcat · 02/06/2010 16:25

Alice, lol at the wizard of oz connection. If you are inisting on red shoes, my magazine says that asda have some fab red ballet pumps, for a tenner

temp still up I have to go and pick mini up in half an hour - i have left junior on her bed (she is only half awake) with window open and under instructions not to go under her duvet again. It is times like this i miss the car, as i would only be 5 mins to pick mini up, instead of the 40 mins round trip bus and walking

jetcat · 02/06/2010 16:26

bye mouse

TrillianAstra · 02/06/2010 16:27

I like the pattern/shape on the green ones better actually.

You can NEVER kill the SHiney thread. Mwah ha ha.

Alicetheinvisible · 02/06/2010 16:27

Have you a neighbour who could sit with her/in the house?

Alicetheinvisible · 02/06/2010 16:28

Which green ones Trills?

jetcat · 02/06/2010 16:29

not really Alice, i dont know them well enough, the only one i do know is really poorly herself. junior knows she can go and knock though, if she gets worse. Not ideal, but i cant really do much else

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 02/06/2010 16:33

Hello all

Had a lovely day with Tocc, the weather is fab here so we took the DC to the park to burn off some energy.

Sorry for those illing.

Alice, I love the green shoes, not the ones with the corsage, the other ones. I still haven't found any sandals but after all that money I spent the other day I'm scared to look!

Will I be chucked off the thread if I order a takeaway tonight?

Really cba to cook and i haven't had one in months.

Mittz · 02/06/2010 16:37

No, we are like one of those creepy sci-fi films where you think you have finished off the spawn of the weird, mutant aliens, but in the closing shot, an eye blinks in the (under budget lighting, as in all sci-fi films) gloomy darkness.. there is a rustle, a hiss and then the credits start rolling.............................................................

TrillianAstra · 02/06/2010 16:38

These ones I like the pattern on them better than the shinyshiny red ones.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 02/06/2010 16:39

Yup, I'm with Trills, they are fabby fab.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 02/06/2010 16:40

Aand I seem to have turned into a childrens Tv presenter circa 1986

Lizzylou · 02/06/2010 16:41

I like all the shoes Alice, at a push I prefer the red as I always feel I don't suit green (but then they are not for me!).

Wasting, if it's not already, it will be sunny and hot hot hot with you soon

Just ran round the reservoir, thinking that it would be cooler and nicer than going to gym. It is baking and I am sweating glowing profusely. Then have done some abs and tricep dips.

Chicken salad and wine for dinner, as am childfree

Hope Junior is OK, Jet.

Alicetheinvisible · 02/06/2010 16:46

Bitter - i have had two takeaways this week doesn't happen very often though.

Jet - she is older than i think of her being isn't she? Sure she would be fine.

Well done Lizzy

I think those green ones are a bit too casual, have ummed and aahhed for about 6 weeks over them. Hmmm.... will have a look for the red Asda ones....
